Artists Registration
Note: even though the artists' application deadline has passed, we'd still like to hear form artists who feel their work is a great match for the festiva'sl vision.
We invite groups of all experience levels to submit an application to audition. Our experienced board of advisers will consider artists based on originality, cultural significance and presentation, in addition to technique. Performing artists must prepare one to six pieces, each 2-5 minutes in length. Visual artists do not need to audition but must instead send in images of their work intended for the festival
In order to register for an audition (for performing arts) or review (for visual arts), an individual or a group of artists must submit the following by mail no later than May 31, 2008:
- application - completed an signed (application form in PDF format)
- video of a past performance (preferred but not required) - for performing artists
- Images of paintings, photographs, art installations, fashion collection photos, etc
- $35 application fee ($35 fee is waived for applications postmarked before March 31,2008)
