Storytime Auditions
Each performing artist must prepare 1-5 pieces intended for the festival performance.
Both lobby stage (for the fashion showcase and smaller acts) and the theatre stage will be used for auditions with only basic house sound and lighting provided.
The artists invited to perform at the Storytime Festival will be notified in 2-4 weeks after the audition.
Note: Artists are encouraged to invite Storytime representatives to their local performances prior to Auditions. In some cases, the Auditions for these artists might be waved.
Artists Responsibilities:
This festival is a mandatory 3-day commitment - two days of rehearsals and a performance day (dates differ for each artist). Each group of over 5 artists is asked to provide 2 group volunteers, responsible for help with the production. Each group's art director and volunteers are required to attend bi-weekly production meetings held throughout the two months leading up to the festival.
